This is not an official byway but it is fantastic! AR-341 runs 24 miles with over 135 turns and feels like two different roads. The first eight miles carry imperfect pavement, narrow shoulders, and residential driveways. After that, the road enters Ozark National Forest where the surface improves and driveways and cross streets disappear. The road winds through three mountainsides, with a descent midway that drops from the mountain to the valley floor on sheer drop-offs. Fuel up in Mountain Home before starting.
