In south central Idaho near the Utah border lies the City of Rocks, a national reserve filled with granite spires. Some are 60 stories tall! This area is a perfect destination for rock climbers from across the world. Nearby Castle Rock State Park might offer better options for beginner or moderate climbers. Stay overnight at Castle Rock in the Lodge or Willow Clamping Yurt.
