Experience this rugged pathway in north central Idaho. Summer attractions are fishing, boating, and camping. In the winter enjoy the 300 miles of snowmobiling trails and 20 miles of groomed skiing trails. Visit the Dent Bridge, Mill Pond, and Elk Creek Falls. Fill up with gas, pack food and water, and remember to take out whatever you bring in. Byway begins in Orofino at Highway 7 and the junction of Dent Bridge Road, crosses the North Fork of the Clearwater at Dent Bridge, then travels on to Elk River where it joins Idaho 8 to Boville.
