Twisted Sisters / Three Sisters (Ranch Roads 335, 336, 337)

This is not an official byway but it is fantastic! Ranch Roads 335, 336, and 337 were carved out in the mid-20th century to connect remote cattle ranches, following the natural contours of the land, the very thing that made them poor choices for trucks but fantastic for spirited driving. In one 15-mile section, there are more than 60 curves. Depending on where you start and stop, the loop runs anywhere from 100 to 200 miles. Watch for deer & cattle! Gas up in Leakey before you start. Roads are in good condition overall, but fuel options are few and far between.
