This is not an official byway but it is fantastic! Latigo Canyon Road runs 10.2 miles from Pacific Coast Highway north to Kanan Dume Road in the western Santa Monica Mountains. The road averages over 7 percent grade and carries a high number of technical turns, switchbacks, and blind corners. Views of the mountains and ocean open throughout the climb. Connects to Mulholland Highway at the top.
