Just 30 miles southwest of Charlotte, this 66 mile journey starts at Kings Mountain National Military Park and runs south through the historic Town of York, to the pre-revolutionary community of Historic Brattonsville, which was featured in the movie "The Patriot". You then continue on through the Town of McConnells to the Bullock Creek community, then north towards the Towns of Sharon, Hickory Grove and Smyrna. This Byway features numerous historical buildings, museums, markers, and beautiful rolling countryside, making for a memorable ride.
