This route travels northwesterly and connects Mount Charleston to Lee Canyon following SR 158 to SR 156 and into Lee Canyon. Along the route, stop at the Desert View Overlook and the Mount Charleston Sledding Area. Look for Angel Peak to the east at the start of the byway and The Sisters South to the west of SR156. The byway is surrounded by Joshua trees, junipers, ponderosa pines, and white fir. Recreational opportunities include hiking, camping, and skiing.
