Dine Tah (Among the People) Scenic Road

This byway travels in an upside-down “V” shape around the north side of Canyon de Chelly National Monument on Navajo Routes 12 and 64 from Chinle to the Arizona/ New Mexico border. Bring the camera for great photos of the sweeping vistas at the Tsegi Overlook, Antelope House Overlook, or Mummy Cave Overlook. In Tsaile, visit the Ned A. Hatathi Museum on the Dine College campus. Further south, on along the state border is the community of Window Rock, serving as the Navajo Nation Headquarters. While in Window Rock, save time to visit the Navajo National Museum and the Window Rock Tribal Park.
