The goal of meditation is not to achieve perfect stillness of mind and body, but to develop the confidence to be able to respond to a mind that is overwhelmed, creative, anxious, dreamy, neurodiverse, and even a little sleepy. Exploring the First Foundation of Mindfulness can help to untangle the mind and regulate our nervous system.
