Yakama Scenic Byway
Named for the Yakama Confederated Tribe, this byway goes south from the city of Union Gap to Toppenish through Goldendale, then connects at the Columbia River. Thorugh the Yakama people's ancestral homeland, much of this land now known as the Yakama Reservation. The Yakama Valley is one of hte world's leading agricultural regions. Not to mis is the Central Washington Agricultural Museum in Union Gap, the Northern Pacific Railway Museum in Toppenish - the City of Murals, the nearby Toppenish National Wildlife Refuge and the renowned Maryhill Museum of Art and replica of Stonehenge dedicated in 1918 to the servicemen in the Great War.
