Experience the unspoiled hardwood forest of the Sproul State Forest as you travel to the top of Allegheny Ridge for the spectacular views. Known to have no power lines or homes visible in this remote area, see the countryside as it looked 100 years ago. Enjoy the wildlife viewing of deer, elk, or bear. Stop by the Burn’s Run and Fish Dam Wild Areas as well as other natural area for recreational opportunities for hiking and camping. The Dennison Overlook, near State Camp, is included in the Dark Skies Directory. Route travels between Snow Shoe and Renovo.
