Connecting the communities of Sutcliffe and Nixon, this byway travels along the southwestern shore of Pyramid Lake near Reno and is managed by the Pyramid Lake Piute Tribe. Visitors are welcome at Sandhole Beach but do require a permit. The Kooyooe Panuadu Overlook gives panoramic views of the lake, tufa rock formations, and area mountains.
