This Trail passes the northern slopes of the Presdential Range by following US 2 from Gorham to Lancaster. It then follows US 3 and NH 110 through areas with history of logging and paper mills, then follows NH 16 back to Gorham along the Androscoggin River, a river once filled with logs destined for mills in Berlin and Gorham.
