Jonathan Trumball Highway
Also known as Route 87, this historic road extended from New York State to Rhode Island. The Lebanon Town Green was the site of patriot activities during the Revolutionary War that gave Lebanon the nickname “heartbeat of the Revolution.” Trumball, who hailed from Lebanon, was the only colonial governor to also be a governor of a state.
