The Fortymile River system has miles of exciting whitewater and is home to the goldfields, made famous in Jack London novels. The route travels to the Top of the World Highway and the U.S./Canada border. Road conditions vary and much of the route is gravel with several steep, narrow grades and long distances between services. Winter road maintenance is not provided.
