He's BACK....the legendary....the one, the only.... Sinatra Sensation LIVE Sinatra Sensation, Derek Evilsizor is back by very popular demand for a dazzling show at Cherokee Ranch & Castle. Grab your Rat Pack, swing and swagger for the best Sinatra show in the country. Doppelganger, Derek Evilsizor is high energy, with off-the- charts charm and good humor as he engages everyone with his truly uncanny impersonation of a young Frank Sinatra. Retro skinny ties, hats, and little black dresses are encouraged for a nostalgic trip to the Las Vegas strip! Event includes delicious heavy appetizers. Timeline: Castle doors and Bar open at 6:00 p.m. Stationary Castle Tours 6:00-7:00 p.m. Appetizers: 7:00 p.m. Show commences at 7:30 p.m. Reservations are required and non-refundable.Make sure to bring your camera, for stellar photo ops of a memorable event at Cherokee Ranch & Castle. Start: Castle Parking Lot/Terrace Time: 8:00-10:30 Leader: John McKinney Hike rating: Moderate – Climb Raccoon Knob and Cherokee Mt. (Approx. 2.5 hours) This hike focuses on interpreting the beautiful landscape of Cherokee Ranch. The hike goes over Raccoon Knob and Cherokee Mountain. Participants will learn how to interpret the sedimentary layers and decode the past. Massive floods, deadly volcanic eruptions, and the flood plain of an ancient river containing trees are just some of the amazing geology. Moderate: A moderate hike is between 1 and 3 miles and typically follows primitive trails with limited elevation gains. There may be some steep off-trail hiking. These hikes are suitable for most people in good physical condition. Reservations include access to Cherokee Land for the hike. Must be 12 years or older. Please bring sunscreen, a water bottle and come in proper hiking attire, including closed-toe shoes or boots. Long pants are recommended. Feel free to bring camping stools or blankets for use during stopping points on the hike for historical discussions. Signed Land Liability Forms are Required for ALL Land Events

ARTS AFIELD "en plein air" program allows small groups of visual artists access to varied locations on Cherokee Ranch property on certain Wednesdays, for several months each year to paint, sketch, draw, or take photos at the group site. See individual dates and locations below. Pre-register and meet in the parking lot for each selected Arts Afield date. Carry in and carry out your supplies to enjoy the day from 8:30am – 1pm (8am in summer) with select evenings. Artists may use garage restroom (near the Castle). Arts Afield days offer inspiring time for capturing the vistas, land, wildlife, and structures. Each date requires a $37 access fee and a signed Land Liability Waiver form.For frequent participants a money-saving Arts Afield Package offers all program dates in the year, a guest pass to a sunset session, and an option to participate in the group exhibit/sale in Cherokee Castle, all for $192.50 fee.   For 18 years or older. Please bring sunscreen, water, snacks and wear closed-toe shoes.
