This learning expedition introduces you to the archaeology and history of the dry expanse of the southern deserts (Sonoran and Chihuahuan) and the peoples who have forged their cultural identities and economic livelihoods in the region for millennia between present-day Tucson, Arizona, and Las Cruces, New Mexico. Your tour leaders are ASM archaeologist Dr. James T. Watson and historian Dr. Michael M. Brescia.
