Storytime

The Nevada County Fair features nonstop live acts, barns filled with livestock, a petting zoo, thousands of community exhibits, and Treat Street. The 2026 event runs from August 12-16.

Children of all ages (with a favorite adult) have fun with engaging books, songs and activities as they build their early literacy skills. This free, drop-in program is held in the Children's Room or in the amphitheater (weather permitting) at Madelyn Helling Library.

The 2026 Yolo County Fair is adding another weekend of fun for the whole family, running from August 7th through August 16th, 2026.
