The Yolo County Fair

The Nevada County Fair features nonstop live acts, barns filled with livestock, a petting zoo, thousands of community exhibits, and Treat Street. The 2026 event runs from August 12-16.

Children of all ages (with a favorite adult) have fun with engaging books, songs and activities as they build their early literacy skills. This free, drop-in program is held in the Children's Room or in the amphitheater (weather permitting) at Madelyn Helling Library.

Bring the whole family to the 2026 Yolo County Fair for Kids Day, packed with hands-on activities, exciting attractions, and entertainment for all ages! The day features the Kids Day Give-A-Way, Balloonacy, the All-Alaskan Racing Pigs, and a Destruction Derby in the Arena.
