
Visual Truths and the Legacy of Korea’s 5·18 Democratization Movement is a photo exhibition featuring 90 curated images from the UNESCO-inscribed May 18 Archives. Documenting the May 18–27, 1980 democratization uprising in Gwangju, South Korea, the collection captures the shift.

Small works of whimsy by local artist Jasmin Iskandar de Caro. These paintings highlight the shift from her reflective, lunar practice of abstract expressionism into a more active, solar way of painting.

November 2026 Artist of the Month: Sandra Drabant presents her exhibit, Where the Brush Leads: Spontaneous and Intuitive Paintings. Sandra Drabant earned a BA in Fine Art and a Graduate Diploma in Education in Australia, followed by a Master’s in Art Therapy from the University of Illinois Chicago.
