
Visual Truths and the Legacy of Korea’s 5·18 Democratization Movement is a photo exhibition featuring 90 curated images from the UNESCO-inscribed May 18 Archives. Documenting the May 18–27, 1980 democratization uprising in Gwangju, South Korea, the collection captures the shift.

Small works of whimsy by local artist Jasmin Iskandar de Caro. These paintings highlight the shift from her reflective, lunar practice of abstract expressionism into a more active, solar way of painting.

Ruthie Basham is a trained painter, yoga teacher, and dancer, weaving together visual arts and movement therapies for over 25 years to serve a diverse range of clients and students within her Ann Arbor and NYC communities and internationally.
