Partnering with the Smithsonian Institution, this special exhibition explores the rich history, culture, and creative expression of lowrider traditions and the important role Tucson plays in keeping this unique culture alive. The show features locally infused photography, cars, bikes, and gear from Lowrider Car Clubs across the Old Pueblo.

Fourth Wall: Arturo Herrera

The first project is a commission of Arturo Herrera, artist based in Berlin, whose practice intertwines pop and queer iconography, gestural marks, and nonrepresentational shapes. Herrera’s wall painting will be on view in September 2026.
