In our hands-on format, you’ll be diving right in and making the signature dish yourself from scratch. You’ll learn about the traditions and culture of Pizza al Padellino, a dish from Torino baked in small round pans that make the crust crispy on the bottom but chewy on top.
In this workshop, participants will explore tatreez, the traditional Palestinian cross-stitch embroidery, and the meaning it carries through its regional motifs and colors. Through stitching a handkerchief-sized piece, participants will experiment with combining motifs and colors, reflecting how displacement affects identity and community.
Special events that are family-friendly on the kid’s side of the studio, allowing you to paint with someone who is under 21 years of age. Each family member will go home with a uniquely theirs 11x14 painting.
