Join our New Bruin Send-off Celebration, where you will meet other incoming students, families and alumni. Send-offs are filled with Bruin pride and the beginning of lifelong friendships and lasting memories.

This workshop will cover strategies for writing personal statements for fellowship applications, residencies, and PhD programs. Among other topics, we will discuss organization, introductions and conclusions, and use of examples.

Patrick A. Polk, Lilly Endowment Curator of Art and Religion, will lead an in-depth exploration of three Fowler Museum’s kiosks focused on devotional practices in Mexico, Haiti, and Guatemala. Together, these installations present the artistic traditions underlying the religious objects in the museum’s collection and reflect living belief systems of the communities that sustain them.
