A Spanglish Affair Open Mic is a monthly event providing a safe space for artists to explore and share their art in front of a live audience. While the company focuses on Spanish and Spanglish content, the open mic is for artists of all disciplines including singers, dancers, comedians, performance art, burlesque, actors, visual artists, clowning, spoken word, and poetry.

Something from Abroad produces material from a variety of cultural backgrounds to bring stories from abroad and give them a voice in today’s America. We are a theater company started by a couple of “broads” from abroad and are proud to promote original art created by women.
