St. John's Historic Cemetery

Peaceful oasis, often described as more of a sculpture garden than a traditional cemetery. Established in 1843, it features live oak trees planted in the 1850s and is the final resting place for many historically significant figures, including a former Louisiana governor and veterans of multiple wars.
