Scoundrel and Scamp Theatre

Acting & Theater Arts is the actors’ side of the theatrical enterprise, a semester-long course recommended for students in 2nd through 6th grades. Students will develop their confidence, performance skills, and stage presence through ensemble work and individual scenes, culminating in a showcase presentation.

Wolfe Bowart’s The WoBo Show comes back to the S&S for a fourth season! Featuring the hilarious Wolfe Bowart and Xochitl Martinez, these theatrical experiences evoke thought, wonder, and laughter through dreamlike sequences that inspire delight.

The tale of The Friendly Chupacabra unfolds in Puerto Rico, where the strange and fierce Chupacabra elicits fear and wonder — until a brave girl, Ana, and her goat tame the beast with friendship. Red Herring Puppets’ The Friendly Chupacabra/ El Chupacabra Amable is the third show in the collection of bilingual folktales based on stories from Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.
