
Ali is a three-piece musical project originating from Jakarta Indonesia that incorporates Middle Eastern culture with elements of 70’s Indonesian psychedelic funk, cinematic soul, afro beat, and disco. Bringing their self described ‘Middle Easten Beats with South East Twists’ to Indonesia and the world, Ali promises to deliver a diverse and unique experience.

On New Ways to Lose, frontman BJ Barham and his band of road warriors turn two decades of survival into a driving, deeply-felt rock & roll statement — one built on resilience, reinvention, and the hard-earned clarity that only comes with time. Sweeping Promises was born in a disused and reverberant concrete laboratory in Cambridge, MA. The duo relocated to their new home and DIY recording compound in Lawrence, KS, and released their sophomore album, Good Living is Coming for You, on Feel It Records (US) and Sub Pop (EU/UK).
