Pace Live is pleased to present a performance of G3 by Rhys Chatham as part of the opening reception for Robert Longo’s upcoming exhibition The Weight of Hope. Also featuring Ernie Brooks, Knox Chandler, Marc Glimcher, Karen Haglof, Jonathan Kane, Jon Kessler, Thomas Lail, Longo himself, and other special guests, the performance will be held on the gallery’s seventh floor amid the artist’s video works.

Author Ottessa Moshfegh will join the artist duo Elmgreen & Dragset for a Pace Live conversation on the occasion of their exhibition The Alice in Wonderland Syndrome. Moshfegh and the artists will reflect on their mutual motivations and inspirations as well as their interest in exploring states of suspension, alienation, and the uncanny.

Their discussion will focus on the new nightscape paintings that Piñeiro Bello is debuting in Solo Quiero Soñar (I Just Want to Dream), exploring the unreality—the surreal, lyrical, and mysterious dimensions—of nighttime.
