Officially formed in 2025, Dead Magnolia String Band plays traditional, hard-driving bluegrass while occasionally reaching outside the genre, working everything from blues and soul to honky-tonk and even grunge into their string-band arrangements. The members found each other through New Orleans’ long-running Monday Night Pickin’ Party at NOLA Brewing.
