Neutra VDL Studio and Residences

Regular Tour with VDL TOURS is a 30-minute tour where all proceeds go towards the maintenance and restoration of the Neutra VDL House. Tours are $15/person for adults, $10 for seniors/students/faculty, and free for children under 15, press, and Cal Poly Pomona students, faculty and staff.

Located in the existing context of the Neutra-designed penthouse, Wet Horizons articulates environmental connections between Luis Callejas’ practice and the architecture of the house itself. The installation merges the reading of landscapes from distant geographies with real LA views through veiled textile drawings, digital projections, and models.

THE COST OF MONEY refers to the steep human price capital can exact, particularly from the most vulnerable populations, and at enormous expense to the environment. Mark Cottle installs three tapestries, each approximately nine feet square, fashioned from plastic bags and twine, suspended at key moments in the house.
