Summer Film Camp MoPOP Seattle is a filmmaking camp that takes place at the MoPOP at the Seattle Center under the Space Needle. The camp is designed for students between the ages of 11 and 17 who are interested in learning about the art and craft of filmmaking.
Teens explore genre filmmaking, from mystery and documentary to fantasy and adventure, while building hands-on skills in scriptwriting, lighting, camera operation, sound design, and editing. Working in creative teams, students rotate through real production roles and bring original short films to life.
NW Film Camp’s week-long day camps are designed to spark creativity and collaboration in aspiring filmmakers. Filmmaking Camps for ages 12-17 offer a deeper exploration of the craft, guiding participants through the entire filmmaking process from script development to final editing.
