Memphis Botanic Garden

Investigate and learn about our urban forest from the experts. Instruction and outdoor learning will cover tree physiology, tree species identification, tree care, tree selection, risk management, how trees support wildlife, tree inventory, champion trees, the history of urban forestry, tree law for homeowners, and arboretum requirements.

Join us at the Garden for Pre-K fun this fall! Parents (or grandparents, aunts, uncles, or nannies) accompany their toddler or preschooler (ages 2-5) as they share stories, play games, create crafts, and explore the natural world led by Kristen Zemaitis, Formal Youth Education Coordinator.

Anwesha Biswas is a representational artist based in Memphis whose primary works are based in oils, painted with the alla-prima technique. Her exhibit depicts florals in elegant settings and landscape paintings spanning seasons, inspired by her travels and the scenic beauty of Tennessee.
