Maine Jewish Museum

Raise a glass and discover the stories told not only through words, but through light. Artist Nancy O’Neil has helped shape the visual landscape of Jewish life in Maine through luminous works ranging from the soaring Creation windows at Portland’s Temple Beth El to beloved stained glass panels in synagogues across the state.

Young artists ages 6–12 are invited to explore the natural world through creativity, imagination, and hands-on artmaking in this four-week workshop series at the Maine Jewish Museum. Using sculpture, printmaking, bookmaking, collage, mosaic, and mixed media, children will discover new ways of seeing and interpreting the world around them.
