What's the vibe
A hushed reverence permeates the grand, historic halls, a palpable sense of intellectual pursuit. The rotunda's 2,000-pound cast-bronze chandelier and the California History Murals in the Children's Literature Room offer artistic focal points within the otherwise studious atmosphere.ambiance

About
The 2,000-pound cast-bronze chandelier in the rotunda is a sight to behold. This historic landmark also holds a fascinating, albeit tragic, past, including a devastating fire in 1986.story
