Eric Schneider’s musical adventures began early, leading him to join the Basie Orchestra where he occupied the “hot” tenor chair for two years. During his tenure with Basie, Schneider recorded three albums, including the Grammy Award-winning 88 Basie Street.

Led by saxophonists Cameron Pfiffner and Pat Mallinger, Sabertooth is a post-bop and soul-jazz/hard bop group with a highly diverse repertoire that includes many original compositions and jazz classics. The band's widely varied stylings are best summed up as, “just groove it”.
