Emergent: a new monthly series debuting making its debut September 13, 2026, 7:30pm with the Emergent Trio -- Jane Buttars, piano; Rick Ollman, wind instruments; Eli Smith, drums -- and featuring guest Steve Gallam, alto saxophone and bass guitar. Emergent features free improvisation like you never heard.

Each September Jazz Gallery Center for the Arts hosts the annual Members' Exhibition. Join 40 plus artists in a fun, diverse exhibition that also builds creative community and celebrates the many voices and talents in our midst.

Leah Cashaw is a Milwaukee artist, art teacher and entrepreneur. She is the creator of Vadose Orchid, an upcycled jewelry & art business, and her ultimate goal is to have creative reuse centers in Milwaukee and reimagining waste in the art making process.
