Led by acclaimed music director Shelly Berg, Battle of the Bands shines a spotlight on the extraordinary soloists of The Barclay Jazz & Beyond Orchestra in an evening of friendly competition and dazzling improvisation. The orchestra divides its personality into rival ensembles that go head-to-head in a spirited musical contest, performing iconic arrangements associated with the greatest bands in jazz history.

The Anirudh Varma Collective (AVC) is a contemporary Indian classical ensemble from New Delhi, India, led by pianist, composer, and producer Anirudh Varma. The Collective comprises more than 150 musicians and artists from across India, the United States, and Canada, aiming to bring the rich tradition of Indian classical music to a larger global audience through collaborations with diverse genres.

This event features live stage performances, artistic exhibits, and entrepreneurial displays that showcase the diverse abilities and contributions of individuals with Down syndrome. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy music, dance, visual arts, and other creative expressions while celebrating inclusion, achievement, and community.
