The first taste of the Indianapolis 500 begins with practice, a tradition of the Month of May. These full afternoon practice sessions help the teams and drivers of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES prepare for the 111th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge, while fans get a first look at their favorite cars, drivers and race in a relaxed atmosphere.

Team WRT BMW, featuring Italian legend Valentino Rossi, won the rain-hampered Indianapolis 8 Hour for the third straight year. The event returns this fall.
