Czech Center New York

Czech artist Valentýna Janů arrives in New York as an artist in residence at ISCP, working across installation, film, and performance. During her residency, she will focus on the development and production of her new film Darklings and a new performance.

Czech painter Lukáš Šmejkal will take part in a residency at Flux Factory in New York from September 1 to 21, 2026. His practice explores the relationship between landscape, the human body, and technology, transforming geometric forms of energy infrastructure into organic, biomorphic structures.
