Eda's Hide A Way

Commander Voodoo's sound is best described as "bayou yacht funk", an upbeat mix of original songs, unique arrangements, and mashups inspired by New Orleans R&B/funk, Southern soul, and jazz rock artists. Keyboardist/singer/songwriter D. R. Commander was born on the bayou near the Louisiana border and spent 25 years performing, touring, and recording with other people's R&B/funk, jazz fusion, jam, and Americana bands.
