The Avalon Theatre

Just run for your life when a destructive force of nature comes howling straight toward you, destroying everything in its path--when you're running from a Twister. Academy Award winner Helen Hunt stars as Dr. Jo Thornton-Harding, a storm chaser who risks her life to study the dark side of nature by taking her data-transmitting instruments directly into the path of a deadly storm.

Enjoy an evening of music from the hearts of local musicians, including students and local adult vocalists and instrumentalists in a variety of musical genres that are sure to warm your heart. These talented musicians will be performing a benefit concert to support The Avalon Theatre.

All teams will have 52 hours to write, film, and edit a 6-8 minute film that must adhere to the HORROR genre. All films must include a festival chosen prop, line, and character, and once submitted, your work will be judged by a panel of experts in the film industry, then shown on the big screen at The Avalon Theatre.
