Track 16 Gallery

Track 16 presents Los Angeles-based artist John Collins’s exhibition Graven Images to the Major Deities, featuring a selection of over 100 baseball drawings from the 2025 season. The series uses brushwork and ink washes on paper to depict daily plays, evolving in 2025 to include works on Asian rice and mulberry bark papers alongside new drypoint prints.

The exhibition brings together a focused selection of collaborative and parallel works by Mario Ayala and Alfonso Gonzalez, Jr., tracing the arc of their shared practice from 2020 to 2026. Centered on their emergence as young Chicano artists, the presentation explores identity, community, and the built environment of Los Angeles.
