The Art Guild

Students will learn traditional hand building skills used in constructing functional and sculptural ceramics. Each project will explore current and historical ceramic artists and how the projects connect and relate to each lesson.

Students will create works on paper using a variety of mediums and surfaces understanding value studies to achieve light, shadow and dimension in their work.

Composition, color and drawing skills are taught to students new to oil painting through still life and observational studies.
