Joe Max Emminger, a self-taught painter from Seattle, Washington, developed an interest in art in the early 1970's and has painted every day since. His work, which is both funny and serious, employs bold colors and strong lines to depict scenes of family, pets, athletes, musicians, and the Seattle landscape.

Jad Fair is an Austin artist & musician, best known as the co-founder, along with his brother David, of the lo-fi, experimental rock band Half Japanese. This show will feature 36 new paper cuttings, and he and his band will also perform a set of music at the opening.
