Bernheim Forest

Join a Volunteer Naturalist for an engaging nature hike on the first Sunday of each month. These hikes are longer than our ECO Kids Hike of the Day and are aimed primarily at adults, but children six years and up are welcome.

Immerse yourself in the spectacular array of color that fills Bernheim’s landscape with two days of family fun in nature! This year we’re celebrating 30 years of Fall Wonder.

Journey through the forest with our Volunteer Naturalists along a segment of the Elm Lick Trail. The trail is beautiful and challenging with steep sections through the oak-hickory and beech-maple.
