Marta presented Do Snakes Go to Heaven When They Die?—the gallery’s inaugural participation in Post–Fair—with an exhibition of work by Pasadena-based master ceramicist George Sherman and Fair furniture from Cologne-based artist and designer Carsten in der Elst. Located in the iconic Santa Monica Post Office, the gallery seeded a section of the Art Deco building with a forest of Sherman’s floor works.
