We are open to public tours every Saturday, 10am to 4pm, unless we’re hosting a special event or Scout program.

In this workshop, participants will learn how to make a beautiful hardbound blank book using contemporary applications of techniques that date back hundreds of years. Participants will learn how to sew a text block using the French link stitch and create and attach a hardcover case with a reinforced spine.

Join us for this special hands-on workshop focusing on linoleum block printing, where you'll learn how to create and transfer your design onto a linoleum block (5 x 7 inches), as well as the basic carving techniques that allow you to bring your vision to life. After the lunch break, you will also experience the satisfaction of inking your block and printing a one color print with the Museum's Vandercook cylinder presses.
