
The Monday Night Square Dance has been an important part of the Twin Cities music and dance scene since October 1979. The dances are all driven by live old time music and led by a talented group of dance callers.

Skye Consort & Emma Björling is a collective of renowned musicians from Canada and Sweden who mix trad music from Scandinavia, Ireland and the British Isles, French-Canada, and tunes of their own devising. They bring enchanting stories and melodies into the 21st century with worldly chamber-folk settings.

Drawing on playwright Kevin Barry Dooney’s Irish and Irish-American ancestry, this trilogy of plays spans four generations and nearly a century, tracing how love, loss, silence, and resilience can echo through time. The event features a staged reading followed by a conversation and Q&A with the creative team, directed by Julia Carey.
