As daylight fades, uncover the mysteries of the night with a guided search for owls. Start just outside the visitor center to look at samples of owl wings, skulls, talons, and feathers, then head out into the fields and forests at dusk to look and listen for our resident Barred, Great Horned, and Eastern Screech-owls.

Dip your nets into the wetland to see what's swimming below the surface. Using magnifiers, identification charts, and field guides, you'll scoop up and examine creatures like mayfly nymphs, tadpoles, water striders, diving beetles, and more.
